BRIDGEWATER ASSISTED LIVING-MIDTOWN

The facility should enhance their communication with family members. Despite my mother's hospitalization and intubation for a week, our family was never informed. It was only after extensively searching through my mother's records that the hospital contacted me personally. Additionally, after being promised a key fob within a few days, I had to wait for two weeks. Despite my request for an explanation, they refused to provide one and were unable to connect me with a supervisor. Consequently, I had no choice but to file a complaint with corporate. I noticed several complaints on here about Erica...I 100% agree that she is not right for this position.

At first I thought the case manager for insurance had finally discovered an AL facility that don’t believe in neglect, abuse, assault, terrorizing and intimidation inhumane treatment while treating disabled clients they are paid to protect and watch over. Inhumane treatment is ALL we have experienced since being thrown into this living situation specialists convinced me were necessary to stay alive and healthy. NOT IN MOST AL and Nursing facilities in Arizona that I’ve experienced. Sad. They have a director who physically assaults residents and parent company covers it up while forcing the victim to move and BAL makes the decision to ignore all requests then discard all personal property of the victim. Degrading for disabled.

If I can give this place no stars I would, the employees (med technician) half do their job ! They are constantly giving my mother the wrong medication, if she call for extra assistance they have attitudes and like to talk to her with so much disrespect. Tonight she fell in her room waited 45 minutes before anyone responded to her call light she was literally screaming for help, they never call the family when something happens, I can't wait to get my mother out of this place even the lady Erica is a nightmare she supposed to be the residents advocate in stead she runs around treating people with so much disrespect no wonder why her employees do it they go around spreading rumors between staff who cheat on who husband it's not one drop of professionalism in this unpleasant place

At first I thought this place was great for my family member, however due to recent circumstances I cannot say the same anymore. There has recently been a dispute between my family and the staff of this community, the main culprit being Erica. Wether it be a rude tone or lack of communication in important time it is very difficult to reach an understanding with this individual. I warn you of of this property and I especially warn you of Erica. Don’t let a first appearance fool you.

I love how bright and open it feels. My grandma has a large window in her room that faces south and she really enjoys the view at night with all of the lights from downtown! I appreciate how the staff already knows her and all of her idiosyncrasies after her being there for only three weeks. This is a place that I would certainly recommend!!
